Light & Wonder is seeking a Software Engineer - Intern to join a global engineering team responsible for internal systems and customer-facing products. You will help maintain automation, build, packaging, deploy, and test software while learning how a robust software supply chain operates in production.

You will collaborate with engineers to understand requirements, contribute small development tasks, and explore new technologies.

Qualificações

• Entry level position, some experience in a software development environment preferred.
• Currently pursuing or have completed a bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Genuine interest in DevOps and the software supply chain.
• Clear written and verbal communication, and the ability to work well on a team.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Detailed oriented and capable of working and completing tasks with supervision.
• Exposure to virtual environments, Jenkins automation, Packer/Docker, Chocolatey desired.
• Some Development abilities in C#, C++, VBScript, JavaScript, ASP.Net, HTML, Perl, awk, Python, Lua, PowerShell, Bash.
• Experience with databases such as MS SQL Server
• Exposure to software version control systems; GitHub, Perforce

Position Summary

As a Software Engineer - Intern at Light & Wonder, you will join a collaborative, global engineering team that builds the technology behind our internal systems and customer-facing products. You will help maintain the automation and tools our engineers use to configure, build, package, deploy, and test software, and you will learn how a healthy software supply chain works in a real production environment.
