Job summary

Light & Wonder is seeking a Software Intern to join a global engineering team working on internal systems and customer-facing products. You’ll help maintain automation, assist with builds, packaging, deployment, and testing, and learn how a healthy software supply chain operates in production.

You will gain hands-on experience in DevOps tooling, collaborate across disciplines, and contribute to tool reliability while documenting your work for future teams.

Qualifications

• Entry level position, some experience in a software development environment preferred.
• Currently pursuing or have completed a bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Genuine interest in DevOps and the software supply chain.
• Clear written and verbal communication, and the ability to work well on a team.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Detailed oriented and capable of working and completing tasks with supervision.
• Exposure to virtual environments, Jenkins automation, Packer/Docker, Chocolatey desired.
• Some Development abilities in C#, C++, VBScript, JavaScript, ASP.Net, HTML, Perl, awk, Python, Lua, PowerShell, Bash
• Experience with databases such as MS SQL Server
• Exposure to software version control systems; GitHub, Perforce
• This position requires 5 Days in Office
