Job summary

Hall Render, the nation’s largest health care-focused law firm, seeks a Software Engineer focused on SharePoint and Power Platform to join the IT team in Indianapolis. You will design, develop and maintain custom SharePoint Online solutions and related applications that streamline document management and workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of SharePoint development experience (SharePoint Online preferred).
• Proficiency in SharePoint Framework (SPFx), Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI), REST APIs, and MS SQL.
• Experience with Copilot is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills are required.
• Experience in professional services environments is preferred.
• Knowledge of document management systems and legal compliance standards.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Engineer with a strong focus on SharePoint and Power Platform development to join our IT team. This role will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining custom SharePoint and web-based solutions and related applications that support internal business processes and enhance productivity across the firm.

• Design, develop and maintain custom SharePoint Online solutions using SPFx, Power Automate, Power Apps and related technologies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Develop and maintain workflows, forms and dashboards to streamline business processes.

Schedule/Location:

• Monday to Friday; 8-hour day shift
• Indianapolis office; hybrid option

Travel and Physical Requirements:

• No travel
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, writing and operating office equipment
• Occasional standing, walking, bending and reaching
• Ability to lift and carry up to 10–15 pounds (e.g., files, documents, office supplies)
• Visual acuity to read screens, review documents and analyze detailed information
• Ability to communicate effectively via phone, video and in person
