Job summary

HeiTech Services seeks a senior engineer to provide design, development, and hands‑on leadership for SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and Power Platform solutions in complex federal environments. You will translate architecture and requirements into secure, scalable systems and lead across lifecycle stages.

Collaborate with architects, developers, analysts, testers, and stakeholders to resolve issues, enforce standards, and promote reusable patterns and knowledge transfer within a large enterprise

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science, Master’s, or Ph.D. in a relevant technical discipline.
  • Must possess at least one of the following Microsoft certifications: Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400) or Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204).
  • Specialized experience supporting senior system architects and developing or implementing solutions for large and complex information systems.
  • Experience with structured analysis, design methodologies, and design tools.
  • Knowledge and application of object‑oriented principles.
  • Experience with enterprise‑level architectures and systems engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Provide senior, hands‑on technical support for the design, development, configuration, testing, implementation, and maintenance of SharePoint and Power Platform solutions.
  • Translate approved architecture and requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions with senior architects and technical leads.
  • Apply structured analysis, design methodologies, OO principles, and systems engineering practices to complex requirements.
  • Develop and refine architectures for large, complex information systems.
  • Perform technical analysis, design, troubleshooting, and remediation of complex issues.
  • Develop and enhance applications, workflows, automations, and integrations using SharePoint, Power Platform, and Microsoft 365.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate requirements, dependencies, and impacts.
  • Contribute to enterprise development standards, documentation, and knowledge transfer.

Description

Provides senior-level engineering, development, analysis, and technical design support for enterprise SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and Power Platform solutions within complex federal technology environments. This role works closely with senior solution architects to translate approved architecture, business requirements, and technical requirements into secure, maintainable, and supportable solutions. Applies structured analysis, sound design methodologies, systems-engineering practices, and object-oriented principles to address complex application and information-system needs.

Provides hands-on technical leadership throughout the solution lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, implementation, and production support. Collaborates with architects, developers, analysts, testers, and business stakeholders to resolve complex technical issues and ensure solutions remain aligned with established architecture and design standards. Supports the logical, physical, functional, operational, and technical design of large and complex information systems while contributing to reusable development practices and effective knowledge transfer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide senior, hands-on technical support for the design, development, configuration, testing, implementation, and maintenance of SharePoint and Power Platform solutions.
  • Work directly with senior architects and technical leads to translate approved architecture and requirements into scalable, maintainable, and supportable technical solutions.
  • Apply structured analysis, design methodologies, design tools, object-oriented principles, and systems-engineering practices to complex application and information-system requirements.
  • Support the development and refinement of logical, physical, functional, operational, and technical architectures for large and complex enterprise information systems.
  • Perform technical analysis, solution design, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and remediation of complex application, integration, configuration, and platform issues.
  • Develop and enhance applications, workflows, automations, integrations, and related solution components using SharePoint, Power Platform, Microsoft 365, and associated technologies.
  • Collaborate with solution architects, business analysts, developers, testers, and other stakeholders to evaluate requirements, technical dependencies, implementation approaches, and solution impacts.
  • Contribute to enterprise development standards, technical documentation, reusable solution patterns, implementation guidance, and knowledge-transfer activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science, master's degree, or Ph.D. in a relevant technical discipline.
  • Must possess at least one of the following current Microsoft certifications: Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400) or Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204).
  • Specialized experience supporting senior system architects and developing or implementing solutions for large and complex information systems.
  • Demonstrated experience with structured analysis, design methodologies, and design tools.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of object-oriented principles.
  • Experience with the logical and physical functional, operational, and technical architecture of large and complex information systems.
  • Experience with enterprise-level systems engineering, analysis, and design.
  • Ability to successfully complete applicable federal suitability and background investigation requirements.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a NACI or higher-level investigation/clearance.
Preferred
  • Hands-on development experience with Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, and Dataverse.
  • Experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx) and modern SharePoint development approaches.
  • Experience developing or integrating solutions using Microsoft Graph, REST APIs, and other enterprise APIs.
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, JSON, HTML, CSS, and related web-development technologies.
  • Experience integrating Microsoft 365 and Power Platform solutions with Azure services and enterprise data sources.
  • Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, source control, application lifecycle management, CI/CD, environment promotion, and release/deployment practices.
  • Experience with testing, debugging, code or configuration reviews, performance troubleshooting, and production support.
  • Previous experience delivering Microsoft solutions within a federal government environment.
