Job summary

Qualifications

• BS or higher in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (ABET-accredited preferred).
• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong Python development skills for image processing and analysis.
• Experience with computer vision and ML frameworks (OpenCV, YOLO, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Experience with Docker or other containerization technologies.
• Frontend development experience with Vue/React.
• Linux environment experience.
• Experience interfacing with I/O devices for automation or machine control.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

Our client, a leading Healthcare and Life Sciences provider, is seeking a motivated Software Developer, with a focus on imaging technology, to join their team supporting a one-of-a-kind greenhouse operation. This role is critical to advancing production capabilities through image-based analysis and automation system integration. In this position, you will design and implement image analysis solutions at multiple stages of the production process. You will work at the intersection of computer vision and industrial automation, extracting actionable insights from image data and integrating those outputs into real-time control systems. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with both traditional computer vision techniques and modern machine learning approaches, and can build robust pipelines that move data efficiently across enterprise networks.

Core Responsibilities

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range:

The approximate pay range for this position is between $45.00 and $65.00 per hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
