Job summary

Technology Partners Inc. is seeking a Software Developer focused on Imaging & Automation to design and implement image analysis pipelines for greenhouse production.

You will collaborate with automation, infrastructure, and operations teams to deploy solutions and ensure real-time data transmission across enterprise networks. The role emphasizes building robust, scalable imaging solutions, integrating with control systems, and contributing to cutting-edge agricultural automation in a production

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong Python programming skills, especially for image processing and analysis.
• Hands-on experience with computer vision and ML frameworks such as OpenCV, YOLO, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Familiarity with Docker or similar containerization technologies.
• Linux environment experience.
• Experience interfacing with I/O devices for automation or machine control.
• Proficiency with Git version control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (ABET-accredited preferred).
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks (Vue, React) for frontend development is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy image analysis solutions to support greenhouse production workflows.
• Apply classical computer vision techniques and deep learning models to extract meaningful data from images.
• Integrate imaging systems with automation and control systems, including sensors, actuators, and machine interfaces.
• Design and maintain pipelines to transmit image data and derived insights across enterprise networks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including automation, infrastructure, and operations.
• Support containerization (e.g., Docker) and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
• Analyze imaging data to improve automation and control system efficiency.
• Document software solutions and ensure system robustness and scalability.
