Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Software Engineer III for its Asset & Wealth Management AM Operations Oversight Team. This role focuses on designing and delivering technology products, writing secure production code, and leveraging AI coding assist tools to improve quality and speed.

You will contribute as an experienced member of an agile team, building scalable solutions, analyzing data, and producing architecture artifacts to support business objectives while maintaining security and reliability.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience.
• Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Proficient in coding with Java (Spring Boot, RESTful APIs) and skilled in debugging and maintaining code.
• Knowledge of Python.

Responsibilities

• Executes software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting with ability to tackle non-routine problems.
• Creates secure, high-quality production code and maintains algorithms with systems.
• Leverages enterprise AI coding tools to improve coding quality, speed, and productivity; validates outputs.
• Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensures constraints are met by code.
• Gathers, analyzes, and visualizes data to support continuous improvement of software.
• Identifies hidden data patterns to drive improvements in coding hygiene and system architecture.
