Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Software Engineer III within the Consumer and Community Banking/Secure Web team in Columbus, OH. You will join an agile team to design and deliver trusted technology products in a secure, scalable manner, supporting the firm's business objectives.

You will develop, debug, and maintain production code using JavaScript/TypeScript/React.js, while leveraging AI-assisted development tools and adhering to secure coding standards.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
• 3+ years of applied software development experience.
• Experience in a large corporate environment.

Responsibilities

• Executes software solutions, design and debugging with the ability to tackle complex problems.
• Creates secure, high-quality production code and maintains synchronized algorithms.
• Leverages AI coding tools to improve code quality, speed, and productivity, with peer review.
• Applies SDLC toolchains knowledge, including AI-assisted development and automation, to boost automation value.
• Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensures design constraints.
• Gathers and analyzes data to develop visualizations and reports for continuous improvement.
• Identifies data patterns to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
