Job summary

Reflexive Concepts, LLC is seeking a Software Engineer III to join our team on the GHOSTGEM program. You will develop, sustain, and troubleshoot mission software, implementing Java and Spring services with COTS and FOSS, and deploying containerized workloads to Kubernetes using Helm.

The role requires strong Linux, scripting, and database skills (PostgreSQL, MongoDB), plus expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and CI/CD with Bamboo or GitLab CI. Security clearance is a requirement.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI + FS Polygraph
• Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline plus 5 years of SWE experience, in programs/contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity, OR
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline plus 7 years of SWE experience, in programs/contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity, OR
• 9 years of SWE experience in programs/contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Responsibilities

• Support development, sustenance, and troubleshooting of a suite of mission software applications.
• Implement, test, and integrate Java and Spring-based services with COTS and FOSS products, libraries.
• Deploy containerized workloads to Kubernetes using Helm.
• Work with Linux CLI and Linux tools; develop scripts in Bash/Python.

This role supports the GHOSTGEM program, developing, sustaining, and troubleshooting a suite of mission software applications. The engineer will implement, test, and integrate Java and Spring-based services with COTS and FOSS products, packages, and libraries, deploying containerized workloads to Kubernetes using Helm.

Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI + FS Polygraph
• Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus 5 years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity OR
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus 7 years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity OR
• 9 years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Required Skills + Experience :

• Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux Tools
• Experience developing scripts using Bash/Python
• Recent software development experience using Java
• Recent software development experience using the Spring Framework including Spring Boot, Spring Data and Spring Integration
• Experience with SQL databases including PostgreSQL
• Experience with NoSQL databases including MongoDB
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and containerd
• Experience with container orchestration technologies including Kubernetes
• Experience creating Helm Charts to deploy containerized services in a Kubernetes environment
• Familiar with Messaging Frameworks such as RabbitMQ and Kafka
• Familiar with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as Bamboo and GitLab CI
• Familiar with IaC principles, methodologies, and tools including Ansible
• Experience using Git Source Control System
