Job summary

Reflexive Concepts seeks a Software Engineer II to join our team at Fort Meade, MD. You will develop, sustain, and troubleshoot GHOSTGEM's software suite, including DINO, and collaborate on integration with COTS, GOTS, and FOSS packages.

The role requires active TS/SCI with FS Polygraph, and advanced degrees or extensive experience in software engineering. You will contribute to CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments using Kubernetes in a defense-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI + FS Polygraph is required.
• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with related experience, or 7+ years as a Software Engineer.
• Or 7 years of Software Engineer experience in programs of similar scope and complexity.

Responsibilities

• Develop, sustain, and troubleshoot GHOSTGEM's software suite including DINO.
• Implement, test, and integrate with COTS, GOTS, and FOSS products, packages, and libraries.
• Collaborate on CI/CD practices and container orchestration using Kubernetes.

Reflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled Software Engineer II to join our team!

The Software Engineer will be responsible for developing, sustaining, and troubleshooting GHOSTGEM's software suite of applications including DINO. Software development activities include implementation, testing, and integration with other COTS, GOTS, and FOSS products, packages, and libraries.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI + FS Polygraph
• Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity OR
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity OR
• 7 years of experience as a Software Engineer, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Required Skills + Experience

• Experience using the Linux CLI and Tools
• Experience developing scripts using Bash
• Recent Python (3x) software development experience
• Experience with NoSQL databases including MongoDB
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and containerd
• Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools including GitLab CI
• Familiar with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes
• Familiar with Helm Charts to deploy containerized services on Kubernetes
• Familiar with Messaging Frameworks including RabbitMQ
• Familiar with IaC principles, methodologies, and tools such as Ansible
• Experience using Git Source Control System

Desired Skills + Experience

• Experience with SQL databases including PostgreSQL
• Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite including Jira and Confluence
