Job summary

Reflexive Concepts, LLC is seeking a Software Integration Engineer III to deliver secure, high-performance software deployments across HPC environments. You will orchestrate configuration changes using Ansible, Helm, and Kubernetes while ensuring compliance and reliability.

The role also functions as Tier 3 escalation lead, collaborating with Operations & Maintenance to perform in-depth root cause analysis and build automated remediation for long-term stability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 8+ years of experience integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting software in heterogeneous environments, or 5+ years with substitutions.
• Active TS/SCI + FS Polygraph required.
• Industry certification may substitute for one year; a Master's may substitute for two years.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fast, reliable, secure deployments across HPC environments using Ansible, Helm, and Kubernetes.
• Serve as Tier 3 escalation lead, performing root cause analysis with O&M teams.

Reflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled Software Integration Engineer III to join our team! This Software Integration Engineer will deliver fast, reliable, and secure software deployments across a wide range of high-performance computing (HPC) environments. The engineer will orchestrate complex configuration changes and software updates across production systems using Ansible, Helm, and Kubernetes, keeping every phase of the delivery lifecycle secure, compliant, and performant. The role also serves as the Tier 3 technical escalation lead, partnering with Operations & Maintenance teams to perform in-depth root cause analysis and build automated remediation that improves long-term system stability.

Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI + FS Polygraph
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and at least eight (8) years of demonstrable experience integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment OR
• Five (5) years of full-time, directly related Computer Science work may be substituted for a degree, plus at least eight (8) years of demonstrable experience OR
• An industry-recognized professional certification may substitute for one (1) year of experience; a Master's degree in Computer Science or related field may substitute for two (2) years of experience.

Required Skills + Experience

• Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux Tools
• Experience with IaC principles and automation tools using Ansible
• Experience developing with Python to develop custom Ansible modules
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, containerd, Podman
• Experience creating Helm Charts to deploy containerized services in a Kubernetes environment
• Experience with DevOps/GitOps principles, concepts, and best practices creating release candidates for deployment, maintaining, and troubleshooting pipelines
• Working knowledge of Git, including branching strategies and tagging
• Experience developing comprehensive, high-quality technical documentation for new products and modifications such as installation guides, troubleshooting run books, and architectural diagrams

Desired Skills + Experience

• Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)
• Familiar with Agile, Scrum, or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies
• Familiar with Datacenter Infrastructure Management (DCIM) tools such as Netbox
