Job summary

Procom is seeking a Software Engineer III (SAP-EAM Technical) to support PM/SM/PS modules, delivering ABAP development and production support onsite in Houston. The role involves collaborating with functional teams to implement RICEFW and optimize SAP performance.

You will debug, test, and mentor peers while staying current with SAP ABAP technologies and integration methods. This contract position includes an on-call rotation and opportunities to contribute to complex SAP deployments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of SAP development experience in PM/SM/PS with ABAP.
• Experience maintaining the SAP technical infrastructure within ECC.
• Hands-on experience with SAP web and integration technologies.
• Experience integrating SAP with external applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflow (RICEFW) in the EAM/PM, SM, and PS modules.
• Gather requirements with functional consultants, business analysts, and end users, analyze business processes, and propose technical solutions.
• Design and implement custom functionality, user exits, and enhancements that improve SAP performance and meet business goals.
• Debug and troubleshoot complex ABAP programs; perform unit testing and performance tuning.
• Provide production support and participate in on-call rotations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver SAP solutions on time and within budget.

Software Engineer III (SAP-EAM Technical)Assignment DetailsDuration: 12-month contractLocation: Onsite, Houston, TX (5 days per week)On-call: Rotation for emergency issues outside business hoursPosition OverviewThis position supports the SAP PM/SM and PS modules and provides technical expertise for projects, system enhancements, and production support. The engineer works closely with other SAP ABAP and configuration groups, including SAP-CCS, SAP-MM, SAP-FI, and SAP-BW.
