A technology services firm based in Houston is seeking an experienced SAP Specialist. This mid-senior level position involves the implementation of SAP EAM processes and requires over 10 years of experience in designing enterprise asset management solutions. The ideal candidate will have participated in at least two full cycle SAP implementations and possess strong communication skills to convey technical concepts effectively. This is a contract role that offers a considerable opportunity to contribute significantly to ongoing projects.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the implementation and execution of the SAP EAM/Plant Maintenance processes: asses current state, identify customer requirements and define future state and/or business solution.
• Hands‑on functional configuration and design experience with SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM, PM/SM and PS)
• Responsible for full life cycle implementation of SAP EAM, from business requirements gathering through conducting business workshops, including gap analysis, blueprinting, design, configuration, testing, cutover, data migration, go‑live, training, and post go‑live support.

Your background includes:

• 10+ years of experience of designing, customizing, testing, implementing, and managing enterprise asset management solutions/systems
• Experience in a minimum of 2 full cycle greenfield/brownfield SAP implementations
• Experience with converting new acquisitions/mergers into current platforms
• Experience with current technology implementation patterns
• Strong, persuasive communication and presentation skills
• Ability to clearly communicate technical ideas—both verbally and in written form to technical and non‑technical peers
• S/4 EAM experience
