Job summary

Itezz Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems including analytics, real-time processing, and large data handling.

The role requires TS/SCI with an Agency-appropriate polygraph and a Bachelor’s in CS or related field plus 7 years of SWE experience. Proficiency in MDAT with Java/Python on AWS, automated testing, and agile collaboration with system engineers is expected; leadership at the team level may be involved.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI with Agency Appropriate Polygraph.
• Seven (7) years’ experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• Implementation of the MDAT system in Java/Python using AWS services, Implementation of automated tests at functional and systems levels, Partnership with System engineers to execute the agile process, Prototyping of solution space in the AWS cloud.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
• Debug existing software and correct defects.
• Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features.
• Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments.
• Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories.
• Write or review software and system documentation.
• Oversee one or more software development teams and ensure the work is completed in accordance with the software development process.
• Design or implement complex algorithms requiring timing, resource, or interface constraints.
