Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Software Engineer Level 2 to support the VISTA (MT&E Team). This role develops, maintains, and enhances complex software systems, including analytics on large data sets and real-time systems. You will review, test, and document software components based on documented requirements.

Required are Go, Python, Terraform, and AWS tooling experience. The position involves independent work or team collaboration and may include leadership responsibilities on project

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph.
14+ years of Software Engineer experience in similar scope.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
Experience with Go, Python, Terraform, and AWS tooling.

Responsibilities

Analyze user requirements to derive design and performance requirements.
Design and code new software or modify existing software to add features.
Debug software and correct defects.
Develop data queries for databases or data repositories.
Lead software development teams and ensure standards are met.
Design or implement complex algorithms with timing and resource constraints.
Coordinate installation and monitor system performance.
