Job summary

Themis Insight, LLC. seeks a Software Engineer (Python) to join our Ft. Meade, MD area team. This role focuses on developing, maintaining, and enhancing complex software systems with a strong emphasis on analytics, big data, and real-time processing.

Ideal candidates have Python, AWS, Docker, and Terraform experience, and hold TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance. You will analyze requirements, debug software, and lead teams as projects require.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline is required; four (4) years of SWE experience may substitute for a degree.
• Two (2) years experience developing and customizing core applications such as Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, and Service Catalog.
• Four (4) years of IT application systems experience in technology solutions delivery is required.
• Proficiency in Python is required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
• Debug existing software and correct defects.
• Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features.
• Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments.
• Develop or implement algorithms to meet performance and functional standards.
• Develop software solutions by analyzing system performance standards and data usage.
