Job summary

BigCommerce, a leading ecommerce platform, is seeking a Software Engineer II for the Storefront Services Team in a hybrid role based in Atlanta. You will build and maintain features powering every storefront, and extend the GraphQL Storefront API to support headless storefronts and third-party integrations.

• 3+ years of backend service experience in production.
• Experience with GraphQL, HTTP, and microservice patterns.
• Familiar with CI/CD, testing, and debugging production issues.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain features for the storefront service powering BigCommerce storefronts.
• Extend GraphQL Storefront API queries and fields with backward compatibility.
• Enhance storefront service to support AI-driven shopping capabilities.
• Investigate, diagnose, and fix production issues; improve performance.
