AeroVironment, Inc. seeks a Software Engineer II to join a small, dynamic team in the Annapolis/Jessup area.

You will build and optimize web UIs using ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, collaborating with mission customers and government leadership to translate requirements into scalable frontend code. You will also develop and maintain server-side applications with Node.js/Express, implement secure RESTful APIs, and participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality, accessible UI across

Formación

• 14 years' experience as a SWE in programs/contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline is required; 4 years of additional SWE experience may substitute for degree.
• Experience designing high-performance web-based graph visualization interfaces rendering large datasets.
• Strong UI development skills using ReactJS and automated JavaScript test frameworks (eslint and jest).
• Experience gathering user needs and translating into wireframes, prototypes, and frontend code.
• Experience developing and maintaining scalable server-side apps and microservices with Node.js and Express.js.
