Job summary

Namely in Krakow is seeking a Software Engineer with 1–2 years of experience building and shipping applications on the Microsoft .NET stack, relational databases, and AWS. You will join a team that builds cloud-based web applications and services, taking features from design to deployment and production support.

You will work primarily in C# and .NET Core on backend services and APIs, write and tune SQL against SQL Server, and deploy workloads on AWS.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of professional software development experience in C#/.NET.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Strong SQL skills with SQL Server.
• Hands-on AWS experience across multiple services.
• Front-end experience with React or Angular.
• Experience with unit tests (xUnit/NUnit/MSTest).
• Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and Git.
• Understanding of OO design and SOLID principles.
• Foundational knowledge of AI/LLMs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs in C#/.NET Core on AWS.
• Write, review, and optimize SQL against SQL Server; diagnose performance issues.
• Build cloud-native components on AWS using Lambda, ECS/Fargate, API Gateway, S3, RDS.
• Develop front-end features with React or Angular and integrate with APIs.
• Own feature delivery end-to-end: design, implement, test, review, deploy.
• Monitor and improve performance, security, and reliability; participate in production support.
• Drive root-cause analysis and implement durable fixes.
• Participate in agile ceremonies; contribute to estimations and design reviews.
• Develop AI-powered features using AWS Bedrock / LLMs.
• Collaborate with QA, product, operations, and security; communicate status and risks.
