Job summary

Wyetech LLC seeks a Software Engineer to develop, maintain, and enhance complex software for federal government customers. You will work on Java and Angular applications, RESTful APIs, and data access with Oracle/PostgreSQL/MariaDB.

You will modernize applications with Spring Boot, microservices, and containerization in Kubernetes, supporting CI/CD and DevSecOps practices. The role requires active TS/SCI clearance and cross-training across application, database, and deployment technologies to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of software engineering experience on programs of similar scope and complexity.
• Experience developing Java enterprise applications using Spring Boot and Angular.
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and integrating with relational databases.
• Experience with application modernization, microservices, and database modernization.
• Experience containerizing applications with Docker, Podman, and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes concepts, cloud-native architectures, and CI/CD/DevSecOps.
• Experience using Jira and Confluence in Agile environments.
• TS/SCI with agency appropriate poly.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user and system requirements to design, develop, test, and maintain Java and Angular applications.
• Design, develop, and support RESTful APIs and data access components for Oracle, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, and other relational databases.
• Support modernization efforts including Spring Boot migrations, microservices, and database modernization.
• Deploy and support containerized apps in Kubernetes across cloud and on‑prem environments.
• Participate in architecture and code reviews, troubleshooting, and technical design.
• Develop automated unit/integration tests, support CI/CD pipelines, and maintain documentation using Confluence and Jira.
• Provide backup database administration support across Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MariaDB.
