Job summary

Wyetech is hiring a Software Engineer to design, develop, maintain, and optimize complex software systems for federal government customers. The role emphasizes Java enterprise apps, RESTful services, and scalable databases with Docker and Kubernetes in a secure environment.

You will work in an Agile setting, contributing to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing while collaborating with Jira and Confluence for project tracking.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI with agency appropriate poly
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline; or 4 extra years of software engineering experience in lieu of a degree
• Minimum twelve (12) years of software engineering experience on programs of similar scope

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise Java applications using Spring Boot
• Develop scalable RESTful APIs and backend services
• Design, optimize, and troubleshoot relational databases
• Support containerization, Kubernetes deployments, and system architecture
• Participate in architecture sessions, code reviews, and Agile development
• Develop and maintain automated tests and GitLab CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Jira and Confluence
