Job summary

Augeo is seeking a Software Engineer II to design, implement, test, and maintain software using modern programming languages, methodologies, platforms, and architectures. In this role you will create application code, review work, write and review technical proposals, coach and mentor, and lead self-directed projects through to completion.

You will have an opportunity to make strategic contributions through your decisions and ideas as you help form the backbone of our product engineering team.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree from a regionally accredited college or university preferred.
• Four or more years of related experience required.
• Experience working in an Agile-based environment.
• Experience in a SOC 2 Type II certified environment.

Responsibilities

• Write well-designed, testable code.
• Develop flowcharts, layouts and documentation to identify requirements and solutions.
• Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility.
• Document and maintain software functionality.
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems.
• Develop proposals for new technical projects.
• Lead team projects through to completion.
• Review the work of other team members.
• Contribute to onboarding and ongoing development of junior team members.
