Job summary

Augeo Software Engineer II designs, implements, tests, and maintains software using modern languages, methodologies, platforms, and architectures. You will write code, review work, craft proposals, mentor teammates, and lead self-directed projects through to completion, helping form the backbone of our product engineering team.

In this role you will bridge junior and senior contributors, shape technical solutions, understand complex systems, and drive innovation with a growth mindset.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree from a regionally accredited college or university preferred.
• Four or more years of related experience required.
• Experience in an Agile-based environment.
• Experience in a SOC 2 Type II certified environment.
• Experience working with JIRA and Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Write well-designed, testable code
• Develop flowcharts, layouts and documentation to identify requirements and solutions
• Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility
• Document and maintain software functionality
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems
• Ensure software is updated with latest features

Summary

An Augeo Software Engineer II designs, implements, tests, and maintains software using modern programming languages, methodologies, platforms, and architectures. In this role you will create application code, review work, write and review technical proposals, coach and mentor, and lead self-directed projects through to completion. You will have an opportunity to make strategic contributions through your decisions and ideas as you help form the backbone of our product engineering team.

• Modern JavaScript/TypeScript development, especially in the React and Node.js ecosystem

Education and Experience

• Experience working with JIRA and Confluence
• Understanding of and discipline to follow rigorous IT data and systems policies
• Ability to work on multiple assignments and achieve objectives and deadlines
