Job summary

Ripple Inc. is building a financial technology platform in San Francisco, delivering infrastructure for fiat and crypto operations.

The Financial Core team develops, tests, and deploys scalable backend services with Java/Spring Boot, Postgres, and React UI components to power Ripple's custodian network. You will automate settlement, funding, and liquidity workflows across accounts, while maintaining production reliability and collaborating with product teams.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of software engineering experience shipping production systems.
• Backend language experience: Java, Go, Python, or TypeScript.
• Ability to work across stack: API, UI, and databases.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases and REST APIs.
• Clear communication with non-engineering partners.
• Experience with financial systems or payments is a plus.
• Familiarity with Spring Boot, Postgres, and React.
• Experience with agentic/closed-loop automation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy backend services and internal tools for settlement and liquidity workflows.
• Collaborate with Product Ops and Product to automate manual processes.
• Contribute across REST API, migrations, and React UI components.
• Maintain production reliability and on-call duties for real-time money movement.
• Write well-tested, reviewable code and participate in code reviews.
