Ripple is hiring a Software Engineer for the Financial Core team in California. You will build backend services and internal tools to automate settlement, funding and liquidity management across Ripple's custodian network.

The role spans REST APIs, database migrations, and UI components, with a focus on production-grade, auditable systems. You will collaborate with Product Ops, Product, and cross-functional partners, contribute to automated workflows, and participate in on-call rotations to keep

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of software engineering experience building and shipping production systems.
• Backend experience in Java, Go, Python, or TypeScript; OO design and production-grade code.
• Comfortable across the stack (backend APIs + UI components).
• Relational databases, REST APIs, and basic distributed systems concepts.
• Able to read, navigate, and contribute to existing codebases.
• Clear communicator with operations, finance, and product partners.
• Uses AI tools actively to accelerate writing, reviewing, and debugging code.
• Experience with financial systems, payments, or operations automation workflows.
• Familiarity with Spring Boot, Postgres, React.
• Experience crafting or deploying agentic, automated workflows.

Responsabilités

• Develop and deploy backend services and internal tools for settlement, funding, and liquidity workflows.
