Job summary

Canvas in Warner Robins, GA seeks an experienced professional to lead the total software development efforts for the program’s OEM, including management of subcontractors, software development, implementation, and maintenance as documented in their Software Development Plan.

The role includes reviewing design information such as Software Requirements Specifications, Design Descriptions, Test Plans, Interface Specifications, and guiding software development practices, risk mitigation, systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Avionics, Electronics, or Software Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• At least three years in the respective technical discipline, including three in DoD/USG ISR/SOF organizations.
• Two years in DoD acquisition/development of OFP software; Agile/DevSecOps desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage total software development efforts for the program’s OEM, including subcontractors.
• Review system/subsystem design information and related software documents.
• Provide technical guidance on software practices, risks, integrations, and cybersecurity.
