Job summary

Canvas, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer II to join our team supporting Robins Air Force Base in Georgia.

You will lead and coordinate software development efforts across OEMs and subcontractors, including development, implementation, and maintenance per the Software Development Plan. A Bachelor’s degree in Avionics, Electronics, or Software Engineering from ABET-accredited school and at least 3 years in the DoD/USG ISR domain are required, with 2 years in OFP software development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Avionics, Electronics, or Software Engineering from ABET-accredited school.
• Three+ years in the respective technical discipline; two+ years in DoD/USG ISR/SOF domains.
• Agile development and/or DevSecOps experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage total software development efforts across OEM and subcontractors as documented in the Software Development Plan.
• Review system/subsystem design information and associated software documentation for development.
