Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, CE, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2–5 years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with React and REST APIs.
• Relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Experience with AWS or another cloud platform.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerized apps.
• Experience with Kafka or distributed systems.
• Experience using Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern SDLC practices.
• Able to quickly ramp up on new products and teams; strong collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Build features across the entire application stack—from backend services to React UIs.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain cloud-native apps with observability.
• Develop backend services using Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, PostgreSQL, AWS, and Kubernetes.
• Build modern, responsive user experiences with React.
• Own features from design through production with teammates.
• Participate in code reviews to raise quality and learning.
• Investigate production issues and implement lasting fixes.
• Collaborate with Product Management and cross-functional teams.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and environment reliability.
• Leverage AI thoughtfully across the development lifecycle.
