Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2-5 years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience building modern web apps with React.
• Experience designing REST APIs.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL.
• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerized applications.
• Experience with distributed systems or event-driven architectures (Kafka a plus).
• Experience using Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software development practices.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship features across the entire application stack from backend services to React UIs.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable cloud-native apps with observability and diagnostics.
• Develop backend services using Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, PostgreSQL, AWS, and Kubernetes.
• Create modern, responsive user experiences with React.
• Own features from design through production and collaborate with teammates at every step.
• Contribute ideas to improve APIs, architectures, and new technologies.
• Participate in code reviews focused on learning and collaboration.
• Investigate production issues, identify root causes, and implement durable fixes.
• Collaborate with Product Management and cross-functional teams to meet customer needs.
• Improve build, test, and deployment pipelines and address CI/CD and environment issues.
• Leverage AI thoughtfully across design, implementation, and testing to boost productivity.
