Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Software Development Engineer to design and build high-scale network software platforms. You will work with network engineers and scientists to deliver reliable, verifiable changes and provide self-service guardrails for speed without sacrificing safety.

You will lead the full development cycle from design through validation and operations, mentoring teams and ensuring systems meet demanding reliability and performance targets in a global AWS environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability and scaling).
• 1+ year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
• 1+ year of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services.
• 1+ year of Object Oriented Design experience.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
