You will own the full lifecycle from design to on‑call support, delivering high‑quality, secure networking software. You will collaborate with product and security teams, implement deep packet inspection, and mentor engineers while contributing to architectural decisions and operational improvements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• 2+ years designing or architecting distributed systems.
• Experience programming in at least one language.
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build, testing, and operations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable distributed systems powering AWS Network Firewall at global scale.
• Implement deep packet inspection and traffic analysis features to mitigate evolving threats.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs and working software.
• Own the full software development lifecycle from design through deployment and on-call support.
• Contribute to system architecture decisions and drive technical direction for new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and participate in code reviews.
• Develop automation and tooling to improve deployment velocity and reliability.
• Analyze and resolve production issues with root cause analysis and preventive measures.
• Mentor junior engineers and uphold technical excellence.
