Job summary

LexisNexis Legal & Professional is seeking an Intermediate Software Engineer to build and modernize web-based software for regulatory compliance in life sciences. You will work on backend APIs, microservices, UI with Angular, and data models in SQL Server, applying AI-assisted development responsibly.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in code reviews, and ensure security, reliability, and clear documentation across Azure DevOps pipelines and cloud services.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency with C#, .NET, REST APIs, Angular, and TypeScript.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including writing queries and performance considerations.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain C#/.NET APIs, microservices, background processes, and Angular user interfaces.
• Modernize legacy applications with scoped changes to improve maintainability and UX.
• Collaborate with product, QA, architecture, security, and operations teams from requirements to release.
