Job summary

LexisNexis Risk Solutions is seeking a Software Engineer III to design, develop, and deploy scalable enterprise applications in a cloud-native environment. You will own security-conscious delivery, modern DevOps practices, and AI-assisted development across Azure-based infrastructure.

You’ll mentor junior engineers, lead complex initiatives, and drive automation, observability, and secure software delivery to support critical business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, SE, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience with cloud-native technologies, Kubernetes, and Azure.
• Experience creating and supporting CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar).
• Experience leveraging AI tools and automation to improve delivery and operations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable enterprise applications.
• Apply software design patterns and best practices for secure systems.
• Participate in architecture discussions and system design decisions.
• Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across application layers.
• Ensure quality with automated testing, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
• Build, deploy, and support apps in cloud-native environments.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions; manage deployments on Kubernetes.
• Support Azure-based infrastructure and services; improve deployment automation and observability.
• Collaborate with security, infra, and development teams to improve security posture.
