Job summary

LexisNexis Special Services Inc. seeks a Senior Software Engineer II to design, build, and deploy production AI systems including agentic workflows and RAG pipelines.

You will partner with business users to translate unstructured problems into measurable AI solutions and mentor junior engineers. You will shape architecture, implement prompts and tooling, manage LLM workloads across AWS/Azure, and enforce responsible AI practices with a focus on performance and cost attribution.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with 2+ years shipping LLM/ML systems.
• BS in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Experience owning an AI feature end‑to‑end: design, deployment, monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy production AI systems across multiple units.
• Interface with stakeholders to scope use cases and define success metrics.
• Write detailed specs and architecture documents for complex components.
• Build evaluation harnesses and monitor accuracy, latency, and cost.
