Job summary

PDI Technologies is a leading technology partner for convenience retail and petroleum brands, delivering real-time insights and mobile solutions such as loyalty programs. We seek a proactive engineer to diagnose issues, maintain enterprise software, and work within an Agile team to improve performance across multiple environments.

You will collaborate with product managers and engineering leaders, leverage C#, SQL, and Visual Studio, and participate in after-hours support on a quarterly basis.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in .NET and C# and SQL is required.
• Experience with SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with Visual Studio IDE and Azure DevOps or Jira.

Responsibilities

• Actively support and develop software solutions for PDI products.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues with due urgency and maintain thorough documentation.
• Perform engineering level tests to find defects; troubleshoot and debug production issues.
• Partner with Product Management to consult on solution feasibility and high-level effort estimation.
• Provide status updates and risk assessments to ensure issues are escalated and prioritized.
• Apply Agile practices to analyze and determine preferred technical solutions.
• Clarify and estimate feature work with the Product Owner.
• Provide after-hours support about once every 3-4 months.
