Job summary

Future Technologies, Inc. seeks a Software Engineer to analyze information and develop government-facing solutions.

You will define problems, analyze data sets, and prepare actionable recommendations, including mathematical models, with written reports and oral presentations. Qualifications include 1+ years of experience, active Secret clearance, and certifications such as CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, or Scrum/Agile Developer.

Qualifications

• Power BI experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collect, review, and analyze information to inform government recommendations.

• Assist management analysts on project implementation.

Description

The Software Engineer will collect, review, and analyze information in order to make recommendations to the Government. The Software Engineer will define the nature and extent of problems, analyze relevant data; which may include annual revenues, employment, or expenditures. The Software Engineer will interview managers and employees while observing their operations, develop solutions to problem and prepare recommendations, seek to understand the nature of the organization, the relationship it has with others in the Government, and its internal organization and culture. The candidate will also prepare and solve mathematical models and report findings and recommendations to the Government. These reports are usually submitted in writing, but oral presentations regarding findings also are common. For some projects, management analysts are retained to help implement the suggestions they have made.

Requirements

• At least one certification from the following:
• CySA+ **
  GICSP
  GSEC
  Security+ CE
  CND
  SSCP
  Agile Developer certification or Certified Scrum Developer certification
• Active Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience with software engineering
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field, such as engineering or mathematics
• Ability to implement projects/tasks with Microsoft Power BI

The anticipated salary for this position is $110,000 to $115,000.
