Job summary

Future Technologies Inc. seeks an experienced software/Systems engineer to support military-aligned projects in a lab environment.

You will collaborate with IA, engineering, testing, and configuration management teams to design, integrate, and deploy software and hardware solutions. Responsibilities include setting up lab equipment, ensuring proper software installations, and maintaining robust documentation such as SOPs and configurations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related scientific or technical discipline.
• 6+ years of experience performing software design, coding, code compilation, software requirements management, systems integration, utilizing systems engineering tools, and system architecture design.
• 3+ years of experience using software development tools such as C/C++, Jira, Jenkins, GitLab, or similar DevSecOps toolsets.
• 3+ years of experience working with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) operating systems.
• 6+ years of experience in engineering, designing, integrating, testing, and supporting software/hardware systems.
• 4+ years of experience debugging software, troubleshooting system issues, and optimizing application performance, including identifying bottlenecks, memory leaks, and processing inefficiencies.
• Active Secret security clearance.

• 2+ years of experience developing mobile applications and graphical user interfaces (GUIs).

The anticipated salary range for this position is $115,000 to $125,000.
