Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or other quantitative fields (engineering, mathematics).
• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Active Secret security clearance.
• One of the following certifications: CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP.
• Proficiency with HTML/CSS, SQL and relational databases, one or more server-side languages (Python, Go, etc.), JavaScript, and Git.

You will be expected to write clean, well-tested, well-documented code across both front-end and back-end systems. You will work directly with the government customer to gather requirements, map out implementation details, and write code to develop and refine requested features, incorporating regular feedback throughout the development lifecycle. Additionally, you will respond to support requests, debugging code issues and assisting users as needed. You will act as a Team Lead for a small team of software engineers.

Requirements

Preferred Skills/Experience

• 15+ years of software engineering experience
• Master’s degree in computer science or other quantitative fields, such as engineering or mathematics
• Proficiency with:
• Adobe ColdFusion
• Microsoft Power Platform suite
• Experience in server configuration/maintenance
• Agile Developer certification or Certified Scrum Developer certification

The anticipated salary range for this position is $120,000 to $125,000.
