Job summary

Vercel Inc. is seeking a security-focused software engineer to help scale secure, reliable services for agents and people.

Depending on location, the role includes in-office anchor days in San Francisco or New York on Monday, Tuesday and Friday; otherwise, it is fully remote. You will implement identity synchronization and lifecycle management, work with infrastructure as code tools, and build enterprise software using TypeScript, REST APIs and JSON.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of security architecture, LDAP, SAML, SSO and REST/JSON.
• Familiarity with RBAC, ABAC and ReBAC access models.
• Experience with SQL and Node.js applications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver secure, reliable, and scalable services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on large-scale projects.
• Collaborate with peer teams to meet industry standards and customer expectations.
• Maintain and operate services at high scale with on-call rotations.
• Implement identity synchronization and lifecycle management (SCIM).
• Work with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Kubernetes) to deliver scalable apps.
• Build high-quality enterprise software using TypeScript, REST APIs and JSON.
