Vercel seeks a software-strong security engineer to build systems that triage and validate externally reported vulnerabilities at scale. You will push beyond signatures with agent-based reasoning, validate root causes, and help automate remediation while maintaining proper review gates.

Based near SF, NY, London, or Berlin you may work in-office part-time with anchor days or remotely, joining a team redefining product security tooling for a platform serving developers worldwide.

Qualifications

• Builder mindset with a strong software engineering background.
• Familiarity with vulnerability triage and validation processes.
• Interest in agentic and LLM-based security tooling.

Responsibilities

• Build tooling to triage and validate bug bounty findings at scale.
• Move beyond pattern matching with agent-based reasoning for security findings.
• Trace validated findings to root causes and drive fixes.
• Prototype automated remediation with appropriate human review gates.
• Rethink security tooling for scale and automation.
• Own and evolve the bug bounty program and researcher engagement.
• Extend tooling to enable customer-facing security testing capabilities.
