Job summary

Onyx Point, LLC is seeking a senior software engineer with an active TS/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph clearance. The role requires 7+ years of software engineering experience across Windows and UNIX environments, with strong Python, C, or C++ capabilities, plus automation through shell scripting.

The ideal candidate will contribute to full lifecycle development, data and performance optimization, and robust testing. Strong DevOps skills with CI/CD and containerization are expected.

Qualifications

• Requires a BS degree or equivalent and 7+ years in software engineering.
• Proficiency in Python, C, or C++ is required at an expert level.
• Experience developing for Windows and UNIX systems with automations/shell scripting.

Responsibilities

• Full-Lifecycle Development: design, code, and debug applications and explain methodologies to stakeholders.
• Data & Performance: manage large-scale data, implement advanced algorithms, and optimize systems.
• Testing & Quality: develop and execute unit, integration, and regression tests.
• DevOps Integration: hands-on with CI/CD pipelines and containerization tools (Docker, Ansible, Jenkins, Bamboo).
