Job summary
Vituity, a distributed healthcare technology company, invites a Software Engineer I to join a fully remote, nationwide team. You will participate in the full cycle of software development, collaborate in Agile/Scrum sessions, and help estimate and plan projects.
The role emphasizes code reviews, writing tests, and contributing to generative AI research. You’ll support deployment, QA validation, production troubleshooting, and automation, while growing skills in Azure DevOps, RESTful APIs, and
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related discipline.
- One year of practical software development experience.
- Familiarity with generative AI technology.
- Hands-on experience on Microsoft Azure platform (DevOps, CI/CD, Azure monitoring, etc).
- Good working knowledge of basic programming languages such as C#, Java, or Python.
- Knowledge of databases and operating systems; working knowledge of MS SQL.
- Familiarity with working with RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with database programming (i.e., SQL Server queries, triggers, stored procedures).
- Familiarity with user interface (UI) programming (i.e., Javascript, HTML, Ajax, CSS).
- Ability to adhere to best practices around writing well-structured, maintainable code in C# and SQL.
- Ability and willingness to learn new technology quickly.
- Exposure to CSS, Powershell, JavaScript.
- Knowledge of machine learning and generative AI concepts and principles.
- Ability to break complex problems down into small pieces.
- Experience in Github or other version control system; familiarity with Ci/Cd concepts.
- Familiarity with SRE concepts and experience in application KPI tracking will be a plus.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) will be a plus.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
- Good communication skills in English.

We are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $80,000, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. This position is also eligible to participate in our annual corporate Success Sharing bonus program, which is based on the company’s annual performance. If you are hired at Vituity, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, and/or experience. We believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer.
