Job summary

Seerist is seeking a Software Engineer 1 to join the Reston team. You will help design and build data ingestion pipelines and event-driven services that power real-time intelligence.

You’ll work with analysts and product teams to ensure scalable performance and reliable operation in a distributed system. You should be proficient with TypeScript/Node.js, Python, and modern data technologies, and comfortable using AI tooling to accelerate development.

Qualifications

• Experience building production-grade data pipelines and real-time processing systems.
• Proficiency with TypeScript/Node.js and Python in large-scale software projects.
• Familiarity with AWS services, observability, and cost-aware architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design and build high-volume data ingestion pipelines and real-time processing components.
• Architect event-driven systems and optimize queries and schemas for heavy loads.
• Collaborate with analysts and product teams to meet performance and analytical requirements.
