Job summary

Southern Star Central Gas Pipeline is seeking an Engineer I to design, develop, and maintain software applications that improve efficiency and regulatory compliance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions and contribute to AI-enabled automation efforts.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, strong communication, and the ability to work with modern development tools and practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
Analytical and organized.
Proficiency in one or more Programming or Scripting languages.
Understanding of basic data structures.
Familiarity with version control, coding standards, basic debugging and testing.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement software applications and features.
Collaborate with business owners and technical staff to translate requirements into specifications.
Write clean, maintainable code following best practices.
Conduct code reviews and provide feedback.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends.
