Job summary

King & Sykes is seeking a role on its Strategy team to automate business processes by building AI agents and automation tools. The position requires hands-on coding and the ability to translate a spec for the in-house team to ship, sometimes taking ownership, sometimes guiding implementation.

You will work closely with utility, pipeline, and gas marketing teams, with field visits as needed. Ideal candidates have built real user-facing AI workflows, can demo a repo or writeup, and can explain

Qualifications

• Have built an AI agent or workflow used by real users.
• Can show a demo, repo or writeup.
• Can write code and a spec.
• Able to explain technical work to non-coders.

Responsibilities

• Identify processes ripe for automation inside the leadership team’s workflows.
• Build agents that automate those processes, or design specs for the in-house team to ship.
• Spend time with utility, pipeline and gas marketing teams; travel to field operations as needed.
