ZipRecruiter, Inc. is seeking software engineers for a hybrid role based out of our Santa Monica, CA headquarters. You will participate in the full life cycle of user-facing applications, write and deploy high-quality code, and grow in Big Data, Full Stack, or Machine Learning tracks.

We look for students or recent grads with strong programming fundamentals, experience through internships, and a desire to work in a fast-paced marketplace serving millions of users.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a full-time CS degree-seeking program with an expected graduation date in 2027.
• Or a recent graduate with a graduation date from Spring 2025 to Fall 2026.
• Demonstrated foundation in software engineering through internship or equivalent experience.
• Fluency in at least one general-purpose language (Python/Java/Go/C++/JavaScript).
• Interest in specializing in Big Data, Full Stack, or Machine Learning.
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule from our Santa Monica headquarters.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the full life cycle of user-facing applications at scale, from design to production.
• Develop understanding of the business, codebase, and systems.
• Write, test, instrument, and deploy high-quality code with test coverage in Kubernetes.
• Help drive the innovation and evolution of ZipRecruiter.
