Job summary

deciBel Research, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer in Huntsville, AL to contribute to the Ground Weapons System (GWS) program. The role focuses on developing software products that support design and development for the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).

Applicants should hold a STEM degree, have DoD Secret clearance, and be able to work with C++ and other coding languages. Travel up to 10% and lifecycle/simulation/testing experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in STEM from an accredited university.
• Active Final DoD Secret security clearance is required.
• Experience programming with C++.
• Ability to read other coding languages.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
• Experience with the System Engineering Lifecycle.
• Experience with simulation frameworks.
• Experience with Jira/Confluence/Bitbucket.
• Experience with Unit Test and System Test Development.

Responsibilities

• Support the Ground Weapons System (GWS) program as an individual contributor on the SPA team.
• Develop software products that support the design and development of the GWS capability for the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).
