Qualifications

• 3-8 years of professional software engineering experience building and supporting production web applications.
• Strong TypeScript or JavaScript skills with hands-on experience in React and modern frontend development patterns.
• Professional experience designing backend services with Node.js, Python, Java, or a comparable language, including RESTful or GraphQL API development.

Responsibilities

• Design and ship full-stack product features using React, TypeScript, Node.js, REST or GraphQL APIs, and PostgreSQL.
• Build reusable frontend components and responsive user experiences with attention to accessibility, performance, and cross-browser behavior.
• Develop backend services, data models, and API integrations that remain reliable under increasing traffic and operational complexity.
• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using tools such as Jest, React Testing Library, and Playwright.
• Deploy and operate services in AWS using Docker, CI/CD pipelines, logging, monitoring, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to scope work, review technical designs, and deliver incremental releases.
• Investigate production issues, improve observability, and contribute to architecture decisions, coding standards, and engineering documentation.

About The Role

The Software Engineer - Full Stack role builds and operates customer-facing web products across the application stack, from responsive React interfaces to scalable backend services and data systems. The team uses TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and cloud infrastructure to deliver reliable features used by customers every day.

This role matters because product quality depends on strong execution across frontend, backend, and platform boundaries. The engineer will partner with product, design, and infrastructure teams to turn requirements into secure, observable, and maintainable software while improving performance and development velocity.

What We Are Looking For

• 3-8 years of professional software engineering experience building and supporting production web applications
• Strong TypeScript or JavaScript skills with hands-on experience in React and modern frontend development patterns
• Professional experience designing backend services with Node.js, Python, Java, or a comparable language, including RESTful or GraphQL API development
• Solid understanding of relational databases, SQL, data modeling, and performance optimization, preferably with PostgreSQL
• Experience with cloud deployment and operations, including AWS, Docker, CI/CD, monitoring, and automated testing
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• Bonus: experience with Next.js, Kubernetes, Redis, event-driven systems, mobile development, or infrastructure as code with Terraform
