Job summary

Edgerun is seeking a Software Engineer to build the software layer around the world’s most advanced powered exoskeleton. You will work with a team of engineers to turn sensor data into actionable dashboards, logs, and alerts, and to support field deployments with robust telemetry and test infrastructure.

The role emphasizes ingestion, storage, and tooling to enable rapid decisions in dynamic field conditions, with CI/CD and hardware-in-the-loop testing experience valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or another technical discipline.
• 3+ years building production software that ingests and processes real data at scale.
• Experience working close to hardware or firmware, not only application code.

Responsibilities

• Build pipelines turning raw sensor and test data into dashboards, logs, and alerts for engineers.
• Own the path from device in the field to a decision at a desk: ingestion, storage, tooling.
• Build what operators see: fleet status, readiness, service needs, usage for mission pre-checks.
• Construct datasets that gait models train on, and tooling to label and validate them.
• Set up and maintain CI and hardware-in-the-loop test rigs to catch issues early.
• Collaborate with firmware to keep data flowing from hardware into the engineering loop.
• Develop and maintain web tools and internal apps the team relies on.
