L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Software Engineer focused on embedded systems for defense-grade applications. The role involves full software life cycle development for embedded devices across Linux, Windows, and RTOS environments, with cross-functional collaboration and rigorous testing.

Ideal candidates have strong C++ OO skills, multi-threaded programming experience, and the ability to obtain/maintain U.S. security clearance.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field or 10 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Proven OO software development experience in C++.
• Embedded real-time software development in Linux or VxWorks.

Mansioni

• Develop software for embedded devices and systems from requirements through production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system design and interfaces.
• Support all phases of software life cycle including testing and integration.
• Contribute to test plans and documentation; participate in peer reviews.
• Work across Windows, Linux, and RTOS environments; support government/DoD bids.
